Hi, I am Jill Lazarus.

Hi, I’m Jill, a photographer based in Sayville, Long Island where I live with my husband, two daughters and my mini dachshund Darby. I started my studio over 13 years ago when I moved home after living in the UK for a couple of years and needed an outlet for my creativity and my ambition to run a small business. Since then, I’ve been exploring my passion for capturing the special moments in life, whether it’s a birthday party, graduation, celebration with friends or just some fun candid moments shared amongst family and friends. I love seeing families grow and I’ve been lucky to be a part of many of their stories while photographing their milestones over the years.

I have a degree in Textile/Surface Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a background in Fine Art from Stony Brook University and years working in the corporate design world. My aesthetic is warm, fun and natural but I’m always open to exploring new ideas and will work with you to find the right look and feel for your family photographs.
