Portrait sessions start at $260, events start at $500 for the first hour, weddings start at $1500 and go from there. Certain locations outside of Sayville, NY may require a travel fee and/or a permit fee. I treat each session as a special event, so let's chat and discuss and I can give you an accurate quote! I do offer "mini sessions'' once or twice a year, usually around the holidays.

Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based on eastern Long Island, NY. I typically don't travel off island for a wedding or photo session, but you never know! I'm also happy to refer you to colleagues who will!
How many pictures will we receive?
A lot! I am terrible at narrowing down images, so if it is a good shot you will receive it!
When will I receive my gallery from my session?
My usual turnaround time is 2 weeks. Sometimes it's sooner depending on the time of year and my workload.
What if it rains on my session date?
For regular sessions, no biggie! I'm pretty flexible so we can reschedule!
What if my child has a meltdown and won't cooperate?
So, knock on wood this rarely happens. It's important to prep your child that we are going to have lots of fun. Bribery never hurts! (I don't judge lol) I always chat with your children before we start. I introduce them to my camera and ask them to guess her funny name. Sometimes I let them take a silly picture of their grown up so they can see how she shows up after on my camera's "tv screen". That usually warms them up. Also, I have no shame and they will say the words fart, boogers and banana butt lol! (They will usually be told not to say that in school only with Miss Jill lol)
How do you photograph weddings?

I always prefer to work with a partner. I never want to miss a special moment, so I like having an extra camera and extra pair of hands around. You never know when you need a dress fluffed or a spair safety pin. Between the two of us, we will have you covered! Typically I will chat with you over the phone to discuss dates, and timelines and the general vibe of the wedding. Then we can meet in person to see if we click and if we are a good match for your special day. Besides loving your photographer's work, I feel it's very important for you to be comfortable with your photographer. We will be together for a long time, in personal and emotional moments during your wedding day. You want to make sure it's someone you feel relaxed with. We will go through the day beginning to end working out a timeline that will be as calm and relaxed and as stress free as possible for you and your partner. You will give me a printed list of exactly which poses and portraits you don't want to miss. Any ideas you have seen online feel free to send my way as well. I will do my very best to complete your list and also document all the little details of your day as well. I''ll help guide you beforehand on planning out the big day so that we have a clear plan and room to have fun on your wedding day! My wedding day vibe is laid back and professional and always with a smile and sense of humor. I am there to make you and your partner happy, and that is all that matters.
When will we get our wedding photos?
Typically I say 4-6 week turnaround to receive your online gallery. Sometimes it's much less depending on the time of year and my current workload. Once you receive your gallery you can download them to your computer, print them where you wish, share them, order your professional lab prints and thank you cards, and star your favorites so we can design your wedding album.
